This year's Holiday Pop Up Shop includes designs by young, local artists including hand drawn illustrations by Anna Kaiser, younger sister to two of our team members. Anna has attended both of our Across My Heart retreats as a middle school and high school student! She hand drew these limited edition designs with our mission in mind!
When we have a conversation about a controversial topic we need to check our own motives and realize that sometimes, holding our tongue is the best strategy of all. Unfortunately, in our explosive culture we are taught to think that the person who is quiet and doesn’t speak up, is a weakling. But meekness isn’t weakness. It’s wisdom.
So next time life gives you lemons, don’t try to make lemonade in your own strength. And on the contrary, don’t sit by and expect the lemonade to make itself. Proverbs 16:9 says, “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps.” Seek God’s direction and open your mind to His blessings.
God created sexuality. It was His idea. His design. But when we look at the cultural climate, it’s hard to see how we can reclaim its sacredness for ourselves, our daughters, and the next generation of young women.
Another year has come to a close, and the AMH Team likes to take a look back and reflect on the amazing things God is doing!
I'm the girl who has a notebook for everything. I have a notebook for Bible study, another one for sermon notes and two or three other planners to jot down my to-do lists. It's hard to keep track of it all! Which is why we created The Bible Study Planner, featuring our one-of-a-kind Bible study method and holistic goal setting worksheets to help you integrate your Bible study into the rest of your life. Here at Across My Heart Ministries, it is our hope to see His Word written across our hearts, inseparable from the way we live our everyday lives.

I was a 4th grader when I went home from school that day. But those feelings are still current in my 23-year-old self. I still become excited and hopeful when I get new clothes. I still long for other people to notice me, accept me, admire me. I sometimes feel lonely when I don't have attention from a loved one or even on social media. When the pressures of life surrounds me, and my feelings overtake me, it’s easy to fade away into a negative attitude and want to “go home sick”. 4th grader or young adult, those feelings are real.
